Chess is a highly competitive discipline. The history that it carries within, and the tradition it shows to the new generation have a great impact on our students' mindset and show how majestic it is to be part of this chess world.

TEAM SUR ACADEMY SUCCESSFULLY TOOK PART IN:

SATURDAY, January 28 - 2023 CalChess age-level championship

We are pleased to announce that the students of our school have started the 2023 California State Chess Championship with admirable success.

The CalChess Age Level Championship was successfully held in Milpitas on January 28th, with 180 players from 12 chess clubs participating in the tournament.

Erhembilig. M, a student of our Chess Champions 201 program, won the co-CHAMPION in his age category.

Also, our student Jargal. A qualified for the "Performance trophy" in his age category.

The competition was a huge success for all our students. We have played as a team and as individual players. Our students have reached personal achievements that showed being eagerly persuasive and ambitious can lead you to success. Learning together and growing in competition is one way to challenge oneself and our students made that step with pride. We are building our success together to aim high.
